Craftsman heritage and dedication to materials
Atelier Fonte was born from a simple observation in the garages and apartments of Bordeaux: most consumer fitness equipment today is made of hollow plastic filled with sand or sheet metal too thin to withstand heavy use. We wanted to bring back the solid feel of genuine cast iron and powder-coated steel, materials built to last for decades without failing.
Every product we offer meets strict specifications, from sleeve diameter to knurl texture. Prior to dispatch, we manually inspect plate balance, thread smoothness, and metal finish in our Gironde workshop.
By eliminating big-box retail middlemen, we maintain fair pricing while taking direct responsibility for our customers. We pack our gear in reinforced boxes engineered for heavy freight, with tracking right to your doorstep.
Raw, durable metals
We select only steel-alloyed cast iron and thick steel tubing built to endure repeated sessions. No plastic filler composites are allowed in our workshops.
Individual manual inspection
Every piece is unpacked, weighed, and checked for mechanical tolerances before packing. This rigorous process prevents any surprises during your initial assembly at home.
Complete pricing transparency
Our prices reflect the true cost of metal, machining, and careful handling, without perpetual promotional gimmicks. You pay by bank transfer or on delivery with total clarity.

I refuse to sell a bar with slippery knurling or a wobbly bench. We weigh and test the mechanical rigidity of every batch before any order goes out.
We design straightforward, durable strength equipment in powder-coated steel and raw cast iron, free of unnecessary gimmicks. Every piece is inspected by hand before leaving our Bordeaux warehouse.
